How gorgeous is this wedding party? The bridesmaids wore tea length mint dresses and groom’s dude wore gray fitted suits. A combo everyone loves!08.15 Marc & Michanne_Wed-36608.15 Marc & Michanne_Wed-08408.15 Marc & Michanne_Wed-367

The bride stunned in an ivory Vera Wang ball gown (who doesn’t?). The groom rocked a  navy suit. They looked amazing together. Such a great match!08.15 Marc & Michanne_Wed-385

Ok, we can’t get over how cute the couples beloved dog was on their big day! A special wagon with tassels was used to transport the adorable pup! So sweet!!08.15 Marc & Michanne_Wed-246

We just love when couples choose to add unique elements to their ceremony. Michanne + Mark chose to incorporate a knot tying ceremony during their vows.08.15 Marc & Michanne_Wed-297 08.15 Marc & Michanne_Wed-300

Let’s talk arches. Not all arches are created equally. Check this beauty out.08.15 Marc & Michanne_Wed-215

Adorn with roses, dahlias, airplants, succulents and draping with silver dollar eucalyptus and green amaranthus, this arch is by far one of our faves. The deep blush and pop of coral added a dramatic and romantic element to their ceremony.08.15 Marc & Michanne_Wed-214

Can you just take a look at their LOVEFEST sign? Ok now check out the Stone House behind it. So pretty + fun!!08.15 Marc & Michanne_Wed-316

We created an amazing dessert display. Seriously, who doesn’t love doughnuts and mini treats? Simple, elegant, with just enough flair.08.15 Marc & Michanne_Wed-169

08.15 Marc & Michanne_Wed-165Adding unexpected design elements is must when pulling together your big day. We chose to spruce up the Stone House’s adorable hutch and  dusted it with greenery + dahlias. Adding photos of the couple and their pups, was such a great way to showcase their LOVEFEST!08.15 Marc & Michanne_Wed-170

We love a good cocktail as much as the next lady, and the couples bar surely didn’t disappoint. With custom cocktails, drinks were flowing!08.15 Marc & Michanne_Wed-192

Two words: Table Decor. We love a good tablescape. With a navy as a back drop, mismatched settings, and custom wine glasses, guests were more than impressed.08.15 Marc & Michanne_Wed-319

Mixed table top decor is a must when you have a large guest count, keeps it fresh, fun and grabs everyone attention to details.

How pretty was the couples sweetheart table? We loved the gold leather Mr&Mrs. The modern chairs truly popped of the rustic reclaimed wood table. Such a great combo.08.15 Marc & Michanne_Wed-434

08.15 Marc & Michanne_Wed-431Lovefest is definitely one for the books. With great decor, amazing detail and a whole lotta love, wedding dreams come true!

Boho Chic

Bohemian. Boho. Organic. Freshly picked. We love it all! There is something about that messy perfect look that captures our hearts. Today’s Bride no longer strives for that perfectly round bouquet. The wilder the better, and we couldn’t agree more. Does it mess with our heads during the creating process? 100%!  Well thankfully San Diego Style Weddings liked our what they saw, and hand-picked our styled photo shoot for their January cover. Pretty AMAZING! The fabulous Temecula Creek Inn provided us the perfect backdrop. Here’s a collection of our favorite shots.

Angela and Tim

October was one crazy month for us. With the purple craze continuing, Angela’s wedding was a breath of fresh air. Don’t get us wrong, we love purple! But we also love a good challenge and here we were able to push our designs to the limit. Angela wanted a romantic feel, full of deep red and burgundy tones, Marisa and I were very excited! Franciscan Gardens in San Juan Capistrano was the perfect venue for this intimate wedding. One of our goals for the flowers is to not only exceed the brides vision, but to enhance the venue and we feel we paired them perfectly.

Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

Angela’s bouquet was BIG and BEAUTIFUL! It was full of black baccara roses, burgundy dahlias, black calla lilies, red and burgundy spray roses and burgundy cymbidium orchids. Her flower girl wore a flower crown made of red roses.

0199

Not that this gorgeous bride needed any, but her make up was done by the lovely and talented Melinda Ruiz of Beauty by Melina. If you are still looking for someone to touch you up on your special day, call her!

0311

The boys sported some cute little boutonnieres made of burgundy spray roses and dahlia buds.

How adorable are these little guys!?

0102

The mother’s wore wrist corsages using the themed blooms.

0043

Pictures were taken before the ceremony, at the beautiful Mission. This crew walked through downtown San Juan Capistrano, followed by a mariachi band. A wedding present from the father of the bride.

LOVED IT!!

0449

0442

With everything set in place, guests in their seats; this wedding was ready to begin! Love these barn style gates!

0495

What better way to say “Here comes the Bride”. SO CUTE!

0535

This picture was too sweet to not include, Angela’s father walking her down the aisle.

0553

For their “arch” something non traditional and very touching: a cross! Using theme flowers and curly willow, this cross was absolutely jaw dropping!

0465

Burgundy roses, red roses, red orchids, dahlias and burgundy cymbidiums were just a few of the flowers on this gorgeous cross. We added dark purple hydrangea and trachelium to stay away from adding to the red and pink tones.

0466

The cross was one weekend project we couldn’t wait to construct. It was towering with a height reaching 10ft tall and was stained just the right tone to pop against the flowers. Lets just say this is definitely one of our favorites!

0623

For the reception, rectangle tables where lined up to form a “U” shape around the dance floor. Spread throughout the tables were mercury glass urns filled with these gorgeous flowers.

0461

Keeping with the theme, smaller clusters of flowers were added in addition to the votives and floating candles.

0458

The sweetheart table was full of floating candles wrapped in burgundy petals.

0460

At sunset with all the floating candles in play, this space was STUNNING!

Congratulations Angela and Tim!

A special thanks to Joe Broccardo at Broccardo Photgraphy, Orange County Wedding Photos for capturing all these lovely images!

Kayla and Ronnie

One of my favorite weddings of 2013 was at The Villa in San Juan Capistrano for Kayla and Ronnie. They are the sweetest couple and just SO darn cute! Everything about their wedding was romantic, bright, warm and inviting! Tyler Branch, of Tyler Branch Photo, did an amazing job capturing every detail, so enjoy! 😉

The Villa  is such a unique venue with so many areas to place flowers to make your guest feel more at home. Here are a few of the lovely arrangements we had throughout some of the seating areas.

Kayla wanted a soft color pallet keeping in mind the sunset colors of Fall. So we used a lot of pastel colors with pops of orange and yellow. Some of the flowers used were; Stock, Larkspur, Kale, Anemones, Dahlias, Roses, Succulents and Lisianthus.

Silver dollar eucalyptus, bay leaf, and pepper tree were some of the greens we used that were in full bloom during this season. Flowers were added to these on site urns in the courtyard area. Simply stunning!

Kale has been pretty popular these days, and was a “must have” for this wedding. Yes, it is the “giant green vegetable looking thing” in this centerpiece. 😉

Kayla has such a bright and bubbly personality! So we thought having her bouquet full of all color would help to make her shine brighter!

Mission accomplished! It was a perfect match!

With her bouquet being full of color, her bridesmaids bouquets were all white and really popped against their coral dresses.

An added feature to their wedding, was a moss-covered “K” and “R” to welcome the guest’s! Love the grey suits for the guys!

The boutonnieres were cute and simple! Loved all the different ways we wrapped them!

Their arch. OMGOSH!!! It was so full and lush and I could go on talking forever and ever about it. By far, one of my favorites, of all times! And that says a lot, considering I’ve been doing flowers for over 10 years now!

Cheers to the happy couple!!

Their centerpieces consisted of hydrangea, kale, succulents, dahlias, roses, lisianthus, orchids and pepper tree.

The cake table was adorned with a couple of centerpieces and, of course, the toss bouquet. Simply jaw dropping! All of it!

Thank you to everyone who helped make this wedding a huge success! All the best to this lovely couple!

Emma & David

Seven Stems was  honored to coordinate & create a close family friends wedding this past Summer.

Emma and David planned a beach themed wedding:  a romantic and elegant feel to it. We are proud to share their special day with you!

With a blush and lavender color pallet we incorporated spring flowers, herbs, and babies breath. These cute little boutonnieres and corsage’s added that special touch to the bridal party!

For a day wedding, in early summer, candles at cocktail hour wasn’t going to work.  Here is a classic alternative!

I LOVE these garden roses!

IMG_1739-XL

We mixed up cocktail hour by using small arrangements for the lower tables. They turned out adorable!!

Hydrangea, lavender, dusty miller and babies breath; you can’t go wrong!

This bouquet, was PERFECT!!

Exquisite Weddings Launch Party

Let the “flowers do the talking ” is the goal when Michelle and I participate in any event. When the Exquisite Weddings Magazine email came for their Fall launch party, we were excited for the opportunity to show who we are. With the theme being”Glamour through the Ages”.

Our vision was to have a family room, mantel, couch, coffee table the whole shebang! When it comes to having our ideas come to life, it typically involves me with a hammer and nails. I’ve become quite the carpenter and tackling a living room set up was on the top of the to-do list. Thankfully the men in my life, my husband and dad know its coming and lend me a helping hand. Not so much willing but that’s another story. 🙂

As party favors for the brides to be, Michelle hand crafted these glitzy boutonnieres.

These cuties also came with a %15 OFF Coupon!! Did you get one??

After a couple of bumps in the road, or should I say thick carpet, we finally got the mantel level and flower frame up! A huge shout out to our new friends: Half Full Photography for saving our life, thank you for the shims!

Antique Love Photo Shoot!!

During the summer, we had the opportunity to put together a fabulous photo shoot with some wonderful professionals, Studio Carre’ photography and Cynthia Zatkins Events. Our theme was antique love and this is what we came up with. Our spread in San Diego Style Weddings Magazine wasn’t able to show all the lovely details that went into this, so here we are to re-examine them for your viewing pleasure, ENJOY!

Marisa and I knew we wanted something to create a more dramatic effect while still maintaining the romantic feel of the shoot. We came up with this structure built of birch branches, covered it with curly willow, passion vines, hanging crystals and pearls. We also found these fantastic hanging votives and filled them with our theme flowers.

It was all set and ready to shoot, until we all noticed this empty “hole” in the center of the hanging décor/votives. Michelle on site with no tools, minimal supplies “MacGyver’s” this little a bird nest, flower ball, gem. I think it might be my favorite part!

View More: http://studiocarre.pass.us/sdswtabletop2013

We used rope to tie the birch branches together and also used it to hang the structure from the tree. La Jolla Women’s Club let us use their location and if you haven’t been there, I highly recommend it. Their gardens are just beautiful!!

Peonies, garden roses, mint leaves, hydrangea, mokara orchids and budlia were just a few of the beauties we incorporated.

View More: http://studiocarre.pass.us/sdswtabletop2013

We used bud vases, mercury glass, a terrarium and antique candle holders to add to the theme. Each filled with something special! Lavender, succulents, curly willow the list goes on and on!

Our colors were melon and cornflower blue. Its hard to find blue flowers that will work with you, not against you. And thankfully, we found this gorgeous hyacinth! It was just the right touch to bind all the textures and colors together.

Fresh Invitation Studio created this wonderful dinner menu and “thank you” note to compliment our theme!

All of it together, just melts my heart! It’s so precious, sweet, and inviting!

For the special bride and groom, flowers were added to decorate their chairs. Ribbon and lace were used to tie on the beautiful florals and passion vine.

What better to way to finish then with our gorgeous bouquet!
