Exquisite Bouquets, The fashion show!

Not only did we create for The Exquisite Launch Party, we were invited to participate in their fashion show we said, “YES!”

The lovely ladies walked around the Launch Party wearing some gorgeous wedding gowns and carried our custom bridal bouquets. Each one in a different style to show variety and cater to every type of bride.

Ombre is must! We went from the pale tones to hot pink all while keeping it romantic with a touch of silver dollar eucalyptus.

Not all brides gravitate towards the blush tones, so for this next bouquet we used dark purple and burgundy tones accented with ti leaves. Using purple hydrangea, black calla lilies, roses, dianthus and dahlias. OoOH lala!

EW Event_SS-030

I’ve noticed a lot of brides are leaning towards an earthy more organic approach to weddings. And this bouquet screams all that! Made of natural green foliage, curly willow, parrot tulips, cotton, succulents and garden roses. Simply stunning!

EW Event_SS-031

And last, but not least, our peach dream team. A gorgeous flower crown accompanied by a matching sherbert colored bouquet. Using Juliette garden roses, dahlia, parrot tulips, roses and freesia. Perfection!!

EW Event_SS-033

As always, it was a pleasure to design and create these unique bouquets, I hope you find something that inspires you to think outside of the box and go big with your own bouquet!

Thank you Next To Me Studios & TRUE Photography, for the Fabulous images!

Pretty in Pinks!

Pink is such a beautiful color. There are so many different directions you can go with it: soft, bright, light, ombre’, fuchsia… the possibilities are endless! Pink and peonies were the only requests we had for our recent wedding. The Bride was working with us all the way from Texas. Yes, Texas! Having a destination wedding at the beautiful, Pacific Edge Hotel in Laguna Beach. With no real specific requests, this left room for the imagination (my favorite!) and this is what we came up with.

The beautiful Bride, Ellen was accompanied by her three junior bridesmaids. Their bouquets were full of pink ranunculus, stock, dalias, freesia, garden roses, spray roses and dusty miller. GORGEOUS!

How sweet is this picture!! Moms are the best! 🙂

Ellen was such a happy bride and it’s magnified in this picture!

Angela and Tim

October was one crazy month for us. With the purple craze continuing, Angela’s wedding was a breath of fresh air. Don’t get us wrong, we love purple! But we also love a good challenge and here we were able to push our designs to the limit. Angela wanted a romantic feel, full of deep red and burgundy tones, Marisa and I were very excited! Franciscan Gardens in San Juan Capistrano was the perfect venue for this intimate wedding. One of our goals for the flowers is to not only exceed the brides vision, but to enhance the venue and we feel we paired them perfectly.

Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

Angela’s bouquet was BIG and BEAUTIFUL! It was full of black baccara roses, burgundy dahlias, black calla lilies, red and burgundy spray roses and burgundy cymbidium orchids. Her flower girl wore a flower crown made of red roses.

0199

Not that this gorgeous bride needed any, but her make up was done by the lovely and talented Melinda Ruiz of Beauty by Melina. If you are still looking for someone to touch you up on your special day, call her!

0311

The boys sported some cute little boutonnieres made of burgundy spray roses and dahlia buds.

How adorable are these little guys!?

0102

The mother’s wore wrist corsages using the themed blooms.

0043

Pictures were taken before the ceremony, at the beautiful Mission. This crew walked through downtown San Juan Capistrano, followed by a mariachi band. A wedding present from the father of the bride.

LOVED IT!!

0449

0442

With everything set in place, guests in their seats; this wedding was ready to begin! Love these barn style gates!

0495

What better way to say “Here comes the Bride”. SO CUTE!

0535

This picture was too sweet to not include, Angela’s father walking her down the aisle.

0553

For their “arch” something non traditional and very touching: a cross! Using theme flowers and curly willow, this cross was absolutely jaw dropping!

0465

Burgundy roses, red roses, red orchids, dahlias and burgundy cymbidiums were just a few of the flowers on this gorgeous cross. We added dark purple hydrangea and trachelium to stay away from adding to the red and pink tones.

0466

The cross was one weekend project we couldn’t wait to construct. It was towering with a height reaching 10ft tall and was stained just the right tone to pop against the flowers. Lets just say this is definitely one of our favorites!

0623

For the reception, rectangle tables where lined up to form a “U” shape around the dance floor. Spread throughout the tables were mercury glass urns filled with these gorgeous flowers.

0461

Keeping with the theme, smaller clusters of flowers were added in addition to the votives and floating candles.

0458

The sweetheart table was full of floating candles wrapped in burgundy petals.

0460

At sunset with all the floating candles in play, this space was STUNNING!

Congratulations Angela and Tim!

A special thanks to Joe Broccardo at Broccardo Photgraphy, Orange County Wedding Photos for capturing all these lovely images!

Kayla and Ronnie

One of my favorite weddings of 2013 was at The Villa in San Juan Capistrano for Kayla and Ronnie. They are the sweetest couple and just SO darn cute! Everything about their wedding was romantic, bright, warm and inviting! Tyler Branch, of Tyler Branch Photo, did an amazing job capturing every detail, so enjoy! 😉

The Villa  is such a unique venue with so many areas to place flowers to make your guest feel more at home. Here are a few of the lovely arrangements we had throughout some of the seating areas.

Kayla wanted a soft color pallet keeping in mind the sunset colors of Fall. So we used a lot of pastel colors with pops of orange and yellow. Some of the flowers used were; Stock, Larkspur, Kale, Anemones, Dahlias, Roses, Succulents and Lisianthus.

Silver dollar eucalyptus, bay leaf, and pepper tree were some of the greens we used that were in full bloom during this season. Flowers were added to these on site urns in the courtyard area. Simply stunning!

Kale has been pretty popular these days, and was a “must have” for this wedding. Yes, it is the “giant green vegetable looking thing” in this centerpiece. 😉

Kayla has such a bright and bubbly personality! So we thought having her bouquet full of all color would help to make her shine brighter!

Mission accomplished! It was a perfect match!

With her bouquet being full of color, her bridesmaids bouquets were all white and really popped against their coral dresses.

An added feature to their wedding, was a moss-covered “K” and “R” to welcome the guest’s! Love the grey suits for the guys!

The boutonnieres were cute and simple! Loved all the different ways we wrapped them!

Their arch. OMGOSH!!! It was so full and lush and I could go on talking forever and ever about it. By far, one of my favorites, of all times! And that says a lot, considering I’ve been doing flowers for over 10 years now!

Cheers to the happy couple!!

Their centerpieces consisted of hydrangea, kale, succulents, dahlias, roses, lisianthus, orchids and pepper tree.

The cake table was adorned with a couple of centerpieces and, of course, the toss bouquet. Simply jaw dropping! All of it!

Thank you to everyone who helped make this wedding a huge success! All the best to this lovely couple!

Exquisite Weddings Launch Party

Let the “flowers do the talking ” is the goal when Michelle and I participate in any event. When the Exquisite Weddings Magazine email came for their Fall launch party, we were excited for the opportunity to show who we are. With the theme being”Glamour through the Ages”.

Our vision was to have a family room, mantel, couch, coffee table the whole shebang! When it comes to having our ideas come to life, it typically involves me with a hammer and nails. I’ve become quite the carpenter and tackling a living room set up was on the top of the to-do list. Thankfully the men in my life, my husband and dad know its coming and lend me a helping hand. Not so much willing but that’s another story. 🙂

As party favors for the brides to be, Michelle hand crafted these glitzy boutonnieres.

These cuties also came with a %15 OFF Coupon!! Did you get one??

We served two different blends of tea, decaf and regular, which were a big hit! As I was constantly having to run back to the kitchen and make more. It was definitely yummy! I highly recommend TEAVANA in the Mission Viejo mall.
