Champagne & Chandeliers

Champagne and Chandeliers was hosted by the Coronado Marriott, to celebrate 2014. Yes I’m totally late posting this, but I think worth the wait. We were lucky enough to be apart of the planning and design process. The oh so talented, True Photography was behind the camera and captured the night seamlessly. Coronado Island is the perfect getaway, If you haven’t been, take the day off, disconnect and get down there! You should definitely consider your next event here. It has the “Destination Wedding” vibe without the price tag. lol

I can’t even handle how gorgeous the entrance was, paired with the winter night and up lighting, it was a match made in heaven!

The tent was completely transformed into this amazingness, it’s ok to stare, seriously, we get it.

With design this immaculate, I think simple and clean is the route to take. Simple florals were scattered throughout the event.

Annie and Scott: A NYE Celebration!

This past New Year’s Eve was spent celebrating a lovely couple, Annie and Scott. Having a NYE wedding requires bling, and they nailed it! This DIY bride went above and beyond the call of duty to incorporate her lovely creations of manzanita centerpieces with our luscious purple and white arrangements. Enjoy and be inspired!

Annie’s bridal bouquet was all white, and her bridesmaids had purple and lavender tone bouquets that were absolutely adorable, vibrant and screamed NYE!!

Scott’s boutonniere was a white ranunculus accented with seeded eucalyptus and dusty miller. It was wrapped with white ribbon and a touch of Bling. It looked SO good!!

The rest of the bridal party had a lavender rose boutonniere’s accented with seeded eucalyptus and dusty miller leaves. Wrapped with plum ribbon.

The couple got married in a sweet little church in La Jolla with a reception that followed at the Cuvier Club.

Annie wanted a “Winter Wonderland” bouquet with some sparkle, we added Bling to this Peony and ranunculus filled bouquet and topped it off with a rhinestone ribbon.

MARVELOUS!

The sweetheart table was accented with petals and the Bride & Grooms initials. The linen alone is outstanding, a beautiful combination overall!

The reception area was decorated with chandeliers, crystals, purple flowers and manzanita trees: it was ready to celebrate!

Here are those DIY centerpiece containers I was talking about earlier, the talented bride crafted these boxes of manzanita branches adorned with a crystal ribbon. She knocked it out of the park with these!!

Keeping with the “Winter” theme we spray painted all the curly willow silver with a touch of glitter. Filling each vase with purple and white hydrangea, lavender roses and purple dahlias with hanging green amaranthus.

A cupcake tower taller than me, I can dig it! A flower topper with crystal initial’s adorned the top of their gorgeous cake. And how happy are they!!? TOO CUTE!

By the looks of it, the guest enjoyed ringing in the New Year with Annie and Scott, and you’d be crazy not to! Cheers to the lovely couple!

Bright and Peachy

Recently I had the honor to do the flowers for an old friend of mine. His lovely new bride had some fabulous taste mixed in with a DIY vision that created a warm and bright wedding! With her bridal bouquet full of peonies, dahlias, tulips and roses it was an explosion of color that took my breath away!

The jasmine vine and wildflower greens were my favorite accent to these beautiful flowers!

Her bridesmaids wore a bright coral color dress so we decided to tone down their bouquets and stick to neutral colors. Ivory dahlias, stock, roses and some bright tulips made these bouquets fabulous!

Looking at their bouquets up close and personal really helps you to see the fabulous colors and textures in these little beauties!

For their ceremony, an arch provided by the venue was decorated in natural vines, curly willow and these amazing flowers!

I loved the way this arch turned out! So pretty right!? Loving the hanging amaranthus!!

The DIY can be clearly seen by these adorable mason jars the bride provided for her centerpieces!

Their wedding cake was so cute with the burlap boarder and “K” topper. Only a couple of blooms were needed to tie it all together!

Once again, Congratulations to the happy couple! So thankful that I was able to be part of your special day!!
