Annie and Scott: A NYE Celebration!

This past New Year’s Eve was spent celebrating a lovely couple, Annie and Scott. Having a NYE wedding requires bling, and they nailed it! This DIY bride went above and beyond the call of duty to incorporate her lovely creations of manzanita centerpieces with our luscious purple and white arrangements. Enjoy and be inspired!

Annie’s bridal bouquet was all white, and her bridesmaids had purple and lavender tone bouquets that were absolutely adorable, vibrant and screamed NYE!!

Scott’s boutonniere was a white ranunculus accented with seeded eucalyptus and dusty miller. It was wrapped with white ribbon and a touch of Bling. It looked SO good!!

The rest of the bridal party had a lavender rose boutonniere’s accented with seeded eucalyptus and dusty miller leaves. Wrapped with plum ribbon.

The couple got married in a sweet little church in La Jolla with a reception that followed at the Cuvier Club.

Annie wanted a “Winter Wonderland” bouquet with some sparkle, we added Bling to this Peony and ranunculus filled bouquet and topped it off with a rhinestone ribbon.

MARVELOUS!

The sweetheart table was accented with petals and the Bride & Grooms initials. The linen alone is outstanding, a beautiful combination overall!

The reception area was decorated with chandeliers, crystals, purple flowers and manzanita trees: it was ready to celebrate!

Here are those DIY centerpiece containers I was talking about earlier, the talented bride crafted these boxes of manzanita branches adorned with a crystal ribbon. She knocked it out of the park with these!!

Keeping with the “Winter” theme we spray painted all the curly willow silver with a touch of glitter. Filling each vase with purple and white hydrangea, lavender roses and purple dahlias with hanging green amaranthus.

A cupcake tower taller than me, I can dig it! A flower topper with crystal initial’s adorned the top of their gorgeous cake. And how happy are they!!? TOO CUTE!

By the looks of it, the guest enjoyed ringing in the New Year with Annie and Scott, and you’d be crazy not to! Cheers to the lovely couple!

The Purple Craze Continues!

Not only were we excited to kick off Spring with purple, we were thrilled to be at one of our favorite venues, Los Willows in Fallbrook, Ca.

This gorgeous and GINORMOUS bridal bouquet had dahlias, French tulips, orchids, stock, hyacinth and just about every other spring flower that gives off a delightful aroma! It smelled incredible and looked fabulous!!

The bridesmaid bouquets where more neutral with more white and lavender tones with pops of bright purple. Using fresh lavender, stock and freesia, these beauties smelled amazing as well! Love the way the dusty miller leaves add that special antique touch to these bouquets!

For the groom and groomsmen boutonnieres we used lavender and white spray roses,  French lavender and dusty miller. Super cute and of course, smelled great! 😉

A purple pomander ball for the flower girl is a great alternative to the traditional flower basket with petals. It ties in to other parts of the wedding…. You’ll see.

Lining the aisle, were pomander balls in an ombre’ fashion. Starting with ivory and ending in a dark purple; it looked incredible! See! I told you, the flower girl would match another part of the wedding!

Two large pillars framed the lovely couple, each with a large arrangements placed on top. They were big, beautiful and reusable for the reception! Two birds, one stone!
