Annie and Scott: A NYE Celebration!

This past New Year’s Eve was spent celebrating a lovely couple, Annie and Scott. Having a NYE wedding requires bling, and they nailed it! This DIY bride went above and beyond the call of duty to incorporate her lovely creations of manzanita centerpieces with our luscious purple and white arrangements. Enjoy and be inspired!

Annie’s bridal bouquet was all white, and her bridesmaids had purple and lavender tone bouquets that were absolutely adorable, vibrant and screamed NYE!!

Scott’s boutonniere was a white ranunculus accented with seeded eucalyptus and dusty miller. It was wrapped with white ribbon and a touch of Bling. It looked SO good!!

The rest of the bridal party had a lavender rose boutonniere’s accented with seeded eucalyptus and dusty miller leaves. Wrapped with plum ribbon.

The couple got married in a sweet little church in La Jolla with a reception that followed at the Cuvier Club.

Annie wanted a “Winter Wonderland” bouquet with some sparkle, we added Bling to this Peony and ranunculus filled bouquet and topped it off with a rhinestone ribbon.

MARVELOUS!

The sweetheart table was accented with petals and the Bride & Grooms initials. The linen alone is outstanding, a beautiful combination overall!

The reception area was decorated with chandeliers, crystals, purple flowers and manzanita trees: it was ready to celebrate!

Here are those DIY centerpiece containers I was talking about earlier, the talented bride crafted these boxes of manzanita branches adorned with a crystal ribbon. She knocked it out of the park with these!!

Keeping with the “Winter” theme we spray painted all the curly willow silver with a touch of glitter. Filling each vase with purple and white hydrangea, lavender roses and purple dahlias with hanging green amaranthus.

A cupcake tower taller than me, I can dig it! A flower topper with crystal initial’s adorned the top of their gorgeous cake. And how happy are they!!? TOO CUTE!

By the looks of it, the guest enjoyed ringing in the New Year with Annie and Scott, and you’d be crazy not to! Cheers to the lovely couple!

Kelsey and Josh

A young and very much in love couple from my church recently got married and Seven Stems was honored to be part of their joyous day. Kelsey was a DIY bride who was inspired by babies breath and hydrangea with accents of peach and coral. Crystal, of Crystal Nicole Photography, did a beautiful job capturing Kelsey and Josh’s special day. I hope you all enjoy!

Kelsey wanted a delicate floral crown of babies breath. She looked absolutely gorgeous!!

Her bridal bouquet was full of white hydrangea, peach stock, babies breath and a few succulents. Loved it!!

Her awesome bridesmaids had all different dresses in shades of coral and peach. Their bouquets where light and fluffy bunches of babies breath. Cute shot!

The centerpieces were white hydrangea with babies breath. Two DIY candle holders were placed on either side to complete the setup.

And lastly, the cake. A classy look accompanied by a babies breath topper accented with peach spray roses.

All the best to you guys!

Seven Stems 1st Photo Shoot!!

After gathering props and driving all around town, Marisa and I finally had everything we wanted to do our first photo shoot! We found some killer wine boxes in Orange, some wood pallets (Thanks Charlie!), and of course flowers!

A trip down to the Carlsbad Flower Mart is always like a trip to the candy store for me, so limiting myself to a few things for some bouquets was hard. But we managed!  Little Madix, my sisters cute little man (6 this June, oh how the time flies!!) came with us and was a big help with picking out some good finds.

Marisa made a sweet table with wood (her husband Rad helped, Thanks!) and with the finishing touches of a fresh coat of paint and some sanding down, (for a shabby chic look) it was time to put my creative juices to work! Friday was the day we put it all together and boy did the day turn out beautiful!

Please enjoy these lovely guys!

Thanks to everyone that helped make this happen!!
